Trelona ATBS Annual Bait Stations
When it comes to termites, PestCo Exterminators don’t mess around. We’ve discovered that the best bait in the business is the Trelona ATBS Annual Bait Stations. These high-tech bait stations need only be checked once per year (whereas most bait stations require as many as four checkups per year), and are similar to the ATBS Direct Bait Kit, only these new bait systems do not contain a wood monitoring base or any additional lids.
While we are happy to check up on your Trelona ATBS Annual Bait Stations with our annual inspections, you are free to check them more frequently if you so choose. You also have the option of converting them into a termite bait system with a process called pre-baiting. This process involves removing Novaluron cartridges and replacing them with a wood base (TMB) and an inspection cartridge (TIC). The wood base attracts termites to the bait station, and once termite activity is detected, you can replace the inspection cartridge with Novaluron, neutralizing the insects. If you choose to go the pre-bait route, you will need to replace the wood base and inspection cartridge about every 12-15 months.
Termidor® Termite Control
Termidor® is effective because it kills termites both on contact and via ingestion. Once that contact or ingestion happens, the treatment is carried and transferred to the entire colony.
